Hopefuls and supporters of Chief Hon. David Barji were thrown into excitement as the respected political figure was officially screened and cleared to contest for the Senate seat representing Plateau Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking shortly after the screening process, Chief Hon. David Barji expressed confidence and gratitude, assuring the people of Plateau Central that his aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to serve and improve the lives of the people across the zone.
He emphasized that, if elected, his focus would be on quality representation through people-oriented legislation that will address critical issues affecting the district. According to him, security and the protection of lives and ancestral lands will remain a top priority.
