Rt. Hon. Dr. Yusuf Gagdi has successfully undergone screening and has been cleared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for a third term as the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Speaking after the screening exercise held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, Gagdi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to once again present himself for service to the people of the constituency under the platform of the APC.
The lawmaker disclosed that he was the first aspirant from Plateau State to appear before the party’s screening committee for the forthcoming elections.
According to him, the exercise was conducted by a distinguished panel led by Senator Uche Ekwunife alongside Engineer Angela Obende and eight other committee members. He commended the committee for their professionalism and understanding, especially in appreciating the importance of experience and continuity in legislative representation.
Gagdi also appreciated the people of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency for their continued confidence, trust, and support throughout his years of service.
He assured constituents that, if given another mandate, he would remain committed to purposeful leadership, quality representation, and the advancement of the constituency’s collective interests.
The federal lawmaker further pledged not to take the trust reposed in him for granted while calling for continued prayers and support ahead of the elections.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon the people of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, Plateau State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
