The Ray of Hope Movement officially submitted a petition regarding the alleged APC Primary Election for the Mangu South State Constituency seat of the Plateau State House of Assembly.

After careful observation, consultation, and review of events surrounding the process, we wish to state clearly that no valid primary election was conducted in Mangu South. According to the APC guidelines, there must either be a properly conducted election or a consensus arrangement genuinely agreed upon by stakeholders and aspirants. Regrettably, neither of these democratic processes took place, yet results were allegedly announced in favour of a preferred aspirant.

We wish to reassure members and supporters of the Ray of Hope Movement, advocates of credible leadership, and all lovers of democracy that we remain committed to pursuing justice through lawful, peaceful, and democratic means.

The overwhelming support and confidence shown by the people of Mangu South cannot be ignored. The voice of the people matters, and their mandate deserves to be respected and protected.

Our commitment remains unwavering toward fairness, transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. We strongly believe that democracy must reflect the true will of the people and not the outcome of arrangements that undermine due process.

We therefore urge all our supporters to remain calm, united, peaceful, and hopeful as we continue this pursuit for justice and the protection of democratic values.

In the end, we remain confident that truth, fairness, and the collective interest of the people will prevail.
