Gagdi Rounds Off Ward-to-Ward Consultation Tour, Receives Massive Endorsement Ahead of APC Primary Election

As preparations intensify for the forthcoming House of Representatives primary election scheduled for Friday, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi on Tuesday, May 13, 2026, concluded his ward-to-ward consultation tour across Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam.
The final leg of the tour covered Gwamlar, Gumsher, Amper B, Amper Central, and Pankshin Central wards, where the lawmaker met with party stakeholders, supporters, community leaders, and residents.

Rt. Hon. Gagdi, who was accompanied by elders and stakeholders from Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency, expressed appreciation to the people for the confidence and support they have continued to show him over the years, especially for giving him the mandate to serve a second term in the House of Representatives.

Speaking at the various wards visited, the federal lawmaker appealed for continued support ahead of the party’s primary election, stressing his commitment to sustaining quality representation and delivering more democratic dividends to the constituency.

He highlighted several achievements recorded during his time in office, including his role in facilitating the establishment and upgrade process of the Federal University of Education, Pankshin, as well as providing employment opportunities and educational support through the payment of JAMB, WAEC, and NECO examination fees for students across the constituency.

Rt. Hon. Gagdi also used the opportunity to preach unity among the people of the constituency. He urged residents to avoid divisive tendencies such as tribalism, nepotism, and religious sentiments, emphasizing that peace and unity remain critical to the continued development of Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency.

In all the wards visited, party faithful and community members openly endorsed Rt. Hon. Gagdi for another term in office, describing him as a leader who has remained accessible and committed to the welfare of his constituents.

The stakeholders unanimously maintained that, based on his performance and contributions to the constituency, he deserves re-election for a third term to continue his representation at the National Assembly.
