Ampang Ward was filled with energy and enthusiasm as Hon. Dr. Mathew Kwarpo Sylvanus, Member representing Mangu South Constituency, hosted the grand finale of the Local Games Competition. The event, which drew widespread participation from residents, also featured the commissioning of a modern Games Recreational Centre, an initiative aimed at promoting youth engagement, unity, and healthy community interaction.
The atmosphere reflected a strong sense of togetherness, as young people and community members gathered to celebrate sport, culture, and shared values. The newly commissioned recreational centre is expected to serve as a hub for talent development, leisure, and social connection within the ward. Demonstrating a commitment to inclusive and participatory leadership, Hon. Kwarpo also held interactive sessions with more than ten support groups, alongside meetings with the Ampang West Traditional Council and the APC Ward Executive Committee.
