COALITION OF CONCERNED FORMER APC COUNCILORS AND GRASSROOTS MOBILIZERS (CFACGM) CALL ON GOVERNOR CALEB MUTFWANG TO JOIN THE APC

Estimated read time 2 min read

We, the Concerned Pioneer APC Councilors and Grassroots Mobilizers on the Plateau, hereby extend a warm and open call to His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, to formally join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Our appeal is born out of Governor Mutfwang’s commendable collaboration with the APC-led federal government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His demonstrated loyalty and commitment to delivering tangible development aligns with the progressive vision of our great party the APC.

The APC is a party that means well for all Nigerians and remains open to individuals who are willing to key into its vision and add value. We therefore firmly believe that the governor’s entry into the party will further strengthen our collective efforts in building a greater Plateau and Nigeria.

We wish to emphasize that the governor is welcome so long as he is coming with the commitment to work assiduously with other critical stakeholders in the APC toward delivering the goods to the people of Plateau State and the country at large.

It is unfortunate that some individuals within the PDP and APC might view this patriotic call with suspicion. Such sentiments do not reflect the unity and inclusivity that the APC stands for. We need more hands on deck, not fewer. Therefore, no one should be discriminated against for choosing to be part of progress.

We therefore urge the governor to make this move without hesitation. This is not just a political consideration, but a popular call from the average Plateau citizen who desires unity, peace, and progress beyond party lines.

To those who may feel uneasy, we urge understanding. The APC is open, inclusive, and ready to embrace all who have repented and are willing to join APC to build Nigeria.

SIGNED: Hon. Kromtit Pankyes Pansat Chairman,
CFACGM, Plateau State
