Mangu Ward 2 Endorses Governor Caleb Mutfwang for Second Term

It was a moment of unity and celebration day before yesterday, October 12, 2025, as the people of Mangu Ward 2 gathered in a show of overwhelming support for the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang. The event, which took place in Mangu, witnessed the formal endorsement of Governor Mutfwang for a second term in office.

The motion for endorsement was moved by Hon. Moses Tangsan, the former Chairman of Mangu Local Government Council, and was strongly supported by Hon. Nanle Makan, Councillor representing Mangu Ward 2. Following the endorsement, enthusiastic PDP faithfuls embarked on a colourful solidarity rally from Na’tika event center along Pankshin road to Mangu LGA Secretariat, chanting slogans and songs in support of the Governor’s re-election bid.

The crowd expressed satisfaction with the remarkable achievements recorded by the Mutfwang-led administration across the state. In a show of further commitment, Satmak Dashal moved a motion for the purchase of a nomination form for the Governor to officially signify his readiness for continuity. He led by example, donating ₦500,000, while the Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government Council, Hon. Emmanuel Mwolpun, made a significant contribution of ₦5 million toward the cause.

By and large, Mangu Ward 2 has resolved to collectively purchase the nomination form for the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, as a demonstration of their unwavering belief in his leadership and developmental strides.

Notably, the endorsement event was made possible through the efforts of Comr. Promise Yatu, who was the brain behind the endorsement, handling connections and ensuring the program’s success. Moreover, the event was generously sponsored by Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who footed 95% of the program’s expenses. His commitment to the Governor’s re-election bid was evident in the donation of over 500 customized T-shirts with the inscription “VOTCA (Vote Caleb Again)” alongside a huge sum of money for other logistics.
