Faringada Big Ideas Sociocultural Forum Hosts End-of-Year Hangout

The Faringada Big Ideas Sociocultural Forum organized its inaugural end-of-year hangout in grand style at Angwan Jarawa, Faringada Community, Jos.

Comrade Semshak Francis, the interim and pioneer chairman of the forum, welcomed members and expressed gratitude for their cooperation throughout the year. Despite facing challenges, the chairman acknowledged the members’ support, which enabled him to overcome obstacles. He pledged to leave a lasting legacy.

The event featured keynote speakers Sagacious Bello Lukeman and Emmanuel Essien, PhD, who delivered insightful talks on the theme “Unity in Diversity.” Sagacious Bello Lukeman emphasized the importance of unity as a catalyst for peace, encouraging members to extend their unity beyond the group to foster peace throughout Plateau State.

Dr. Emmanuel Essien, from the University of Jos, urged members to become influencers, creating positive impacts in society.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the anniversary cake by Sir John Achaga, patron of the forum. Comrade E. H. Gambo, leader of the forum, delivered the vote of thanks and closing remarks.
