Official Visit: Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) Inspects Facilities at Mwaghavul College of Health and Technology, Pushit, Mangu LGA, Plateau State.

On August 27, 2024, the Mwaghavul College of Health and Technology Pushit hosted a delegation from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, Abuja. The visit was attended by key figures, including the Provost of the college, Mrs. Mercy Kyesdugun; Dr. Solomon Mangvwat, representing the Mwaghavul Development Association; Mr. Yusuf Ayuba Gimba, Director of Quality Assurance at the Plateau State Ministry of Education, who represented the Commissioner of Higher Education; and the school adviser, Dara Pam Madu, among others.

Dr. Solomon Mangvwat, speaking on behalf of the school’s proprietor, welcomed the visitors and highlighted the challenges posed by insecurity in the Mwaghavul nation, which has led to a significant number of internally displaced persons (IDPs). He emphasized the Mwaghavul people’s strong commitment to education.

The team lead from the Board, Hajiya Halima Ahmed, clarified that their visit was aimed at providing constructive feedback, particularly in areas needing improvement. She encouraged the college to adopt Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for examinations. The team conducted inspections of various facilities, including the ICT center, library, e-library, demonstration center, staff offices, and the Health Information Management Science Demonstration Hall.

Mr. Ayuba Gimba reiterated the importance of maintaining quality education, while Dara Pam Madu expressed gratitude for the visit and pledged to utilize his experience to help the college meet the necessary standards.
