Comr. Walshak Kumwen Declares Candidacy for Plateau Youth Council Chairman

Comr. Walshak Kumwen officially declared his intention to run for the position of Plateau Youth Council (PYC) chairman today, August 23, 2024, at GBL Suite, Dadin Kowa, Jos, Plateau State. The declaration event was preceded by an enthusiastic procession that began at Secretariat Junction and culminated at the venue, where Kumwen was met with cheers and support from attendees.

The event saw the presence of Plateau Youth veterans and PYC coordinators across the three senatorial zones, demonstrating broad support for Kumwen’s candidacy. Comr. Alex Audu Wani, the PYC Central Zone Coordinator, urged attendees to back Kumwen, praising his straightforwardness and commitment to youth leadership.

During the event, Comr. Walshak Kumwen also took the opportunity to inaugurate his campaign council. In his speech, he expressed confidence in his ability to bring about positive changes within the Plateau Youth Council, drawing on his experience as a former Public Relations Officer (PRO) within the same organization.
