Lt. Gen. Ta Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, commissioned a series of vital renovation projects in Mangun, Mangu Local Government Area. These projects, which include the renovation of the Central Primary School, the installation of a motorized borehole, and the construction of modern toilet facilities, were made possible through the efforts of Major General Godwin Mutkut, a native of Mangun.
In a ceremony attended by community leaders, local government officials, and residents, Major General Godwin Mutkut expressed his profound gratitude to Lt. Gen. Ta Lagbaja for his commitment to improving the infrastructure in Mangun. “I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff for considering my people in Mangun with such a significant and impactful project,” Maj. Gen. Mutkut stated. “These renovations will greatly enhance the quality of education, access to clean water, and sanitation for the residents of our community.”
The renovated Central Primary School now boasts improved classroom facilities, providing a conducive learning environment for students. The motorized borehole will ensure a reliable supply of clean water, addressing a critical need for the community. Additionally, the newly constructed toilet facilities will promote better hygiene and sanitation practices.
Lt. Gen.
