Sen. Satso Plang Empowers constituents, Donates Buses, Motorcycles and grinding machines across Plateau Central

Yesterday, 8th June, 2026, the Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly, Sen. Diket Satso Plang, once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and development of his constituents through the donation of two 18-seater buses, 21 motorcycles, and several grinding machines aimed at empowering communities and strengthening security across the zone.

The official ceremony commenced at the senator’s residence in Jos and attracted dignitaries across Plateau Central and beyond. Among those in attendance were the Plateau State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Kachollom Gyang, five Local Government Chairmen, members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, APC Zonal and LGA executives, stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers.

Speaking during the event, Sen. Diket Satso Plang emphasized that the donations were part of his continued efforts to improve education, support grassroots empowerment, and contribute meaningfully to addressing insecurity within Plateau Central.

In a bid to support educational institutions within the zone, the senator proceeded to Mwaghavul College of Health Technology, Pushit in Mangu LGA, where he donated the first 18-seater bus to the institution. Thereafter, he moved to Plateau State College of Health Technology, Pankshin, where the second bus was presented.

The Provost of Plateau State College of Health Technology, Pankshin, Mr. Emmanuel Mahan, and the Provost of Mwaghavul College of Health and Technology, Pushit, Mr. Ignatius Yamson, both expressed profound appreciation to the senator for the thoughtful gesture. They described the intervention as timely and impactful, while praying for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon him.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Plateau State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Kachollom Gyang, alongside other stakeholders, commended Sen. Diket Satso Plang for his visionary leadership and commitment to educational development. They noted that the senator’s investments in education and community empowerment continue to leave lasting impacts across Plateau Central.

The donation of the 21 motorcycles is expected to support local efforts in curbing insecurity, while the grinding machines will serve as tools for economic empowerment for beneficiaries within the constituency. The event was marked by joy, appreciation, and renewed hope among beneficiaries and supporters who applauded the senator for consistently prioritizing the needs of the people.
