On Sunday, 8th March 2026, Hon. Longret Tokden made her first public outing in her capacity as the State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Subzonal Women Fellowship hosted by the Women Fellowship of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), RCC Mangu. The programme was held at COCIN Central Mangu.
The fellowship brought together women from various congregations within the subzone for a time of spiritual reflection, unity, and community engagement. A major highlight of the gathering was a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting the construction of a guest house and the renovation of the church shopping complex. The project is expected to strengthen the church’s capacity to better serve both its members and the wider community.
The event witnessed a remarkable demonstration of faith, unity, and commitment among the women present. The gathering underscored the role of women not only in spiritual fellowship but also in supporting developmental initiatives that contribute to the growth of the church and the community.
