Hon. Ryegan Lekmang Ladan, an aspirant for the position of Member representing Mangu South State Constituency, has reaffirmed his strong commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots development if elected into office.
Speaking during an interactive session with members of the press at his residence, Hon. Ryegan emphasized that empowering young people remains a core part of his vision for Mangu South. He noted that the energy, creativity, and resilience of the youths are critical to the growth and future of the constituency.
According to him, his passion for economic empowerment is deeply rooted in his background as a businessman, a journey that has exposed him to the realities of starting, sustaining, and growing enterprises. He expressed confidence that his experience in business places him in a better position to create opportunities, support small businesses, and encourage entrepreneurship among young people.
“I understand the challenges our youths face because I have walked that path myself,” he said. “If given the mandate, I am ready to make a real difference by supporting businesses, creating opportunities, and empowering our young people to become self-reliant.”
Hon. Ryegan further assured the people of Mangu South of his readiness to serve with sincerity, innovation, and dedication, stressing that leadership should be about impact, not promises.
He concluded by calling on youths and stakeholders in the constituency to believe in a shared vision of progress, where opportunities are accessible and development is inclusive.
