On Monday, 15th December 2025, the Mangu North Constituency witnessed a heart-warming and impactful Christmas empowerment programme organized by the Plateau State Liaison Officer, Alhaji Sani Golden, in support of women across the constituency. The programme, which took place in the spirit of the season, successfully reached over 500 women, each of whom received a wrapper and a cash token of ₦5,000.
The initiative was aimed at easing the economic challenges faced by vulnerable women, especially during the festive period, and reaffirming the commitment of leadership to inclusive governance and people-centered development. The event was met with joy, gratitude, and overwhelming appreciation from beneficiaries, community leaders, and stakeholders present.
Speaking during the empowerment exercise, Alhaji Sani Golden, in his capacity as Liaison Officer to the Executive Governor of Plateau State and sponsor of the programme, emphasized the importance of deliberately supporting women as critical pillars of families and communities.
