MSMEs Carnival 2025: Strengthening Plateau’s Business Ecosystem

With the support of GIZ/GOPA, the Plateau State One Stop Investment Centre (PS-OSIC), in collaboration with PLASMIDA and SMEDAN, successfully convened the MSMEs Carnival 2025 – “Made in Plateau Business”, held from 2nd to 6th December 2025 at Solomon Lar Amusement Park, Domkat Bali Road, Jos.

The carnival, themed “Strengthening the Plateau MSMEs Ecosystem through Synergies and Eco-Smart Entrepreneurship”, provided a platform for local MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to showcase innovations, network, and explore collaborative opportunities across the Plateau State business ecosystem.

Key outcomes included:

  • Strengthening the ICSS-BDS (Integrated Cluster Support Services – Business Development Support) framework by identifying gaps and priority interventions for MSMEs.
  • Showcasing local MSMEs and promoting the “Made in Plateau” brand to investors, government agencies, and development partners.
  • Facilitating strategic networking and collaboration between entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Highlighting eco-smart entrepreneurship practices and opportunities for scaling MSME businesses sustainably.
  • Generating actionable insights for improving the Plateau State MSME ecosystem and informing future ICSS interventions.

The outcomes of the carnival will guide ongoing initiatives to enhance MSME competitiveness, foster synergies, and support sustainable business growth across Plateau State.
