Gratitude and Celebration: CITN Jos and District Society Kicks Off Jos Tax Week with Thanksgiving

The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) Jos and District Society has commenced its Jos Tax Week, a 5-day celebration to mark the Institute’s 10th year anniversary on the Plateau.

The week-long event began with a thanksgiving service at the Assemblies of God Church, Hospital Road, Jos, where the Chairman, Mr. Reuben Amos Dadar, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the Institute’s progress.

In his remarks, Mr. Dadar intimated the church about the forthcoming events, highlighting the Institute’s role in regulating taxation in Nigeria.

Hon. Dan-Philip Hirkop, 2nd Chairman of the District, emphasized the importance of membership, encouraging ICAN, ANAN, and Lawyers, as well as graduates with interest in taxation, to join the Institute.

Mrs. Deborah Adamu Kesuwo, Chairperson, Planning Committee, outlined the series of activities scheduled for the week, including the Investiture of the 6th Chairman and Inauguration of the Executive Committee.

The Jos Tax Week will run from Monday, August 25th to Friday, August 29th, 2025. All are invited to join in the celebration.
