Yesterday, August 2, 2025, HRH. Dr. Al-Hassan Yakmut, the district head of Chanso, Pyem Chiefdom Mangu LGA, Plateau State, played a key role as chairman of the occasion at the official inauguration of the One Plateau Unity Forum held at Etsu Karu, Karu LGA Abuja.
The well-attended event drew notable figures, including Hon. Dr. I.D. Lalu, member representing Mangu/Bokkos federal constituency; Hon. Barr. Gregory Lar; and Hon. Dr. Ubandoma Laven, Honourable Commissioner for Works, Plateau State and many others.
In his remarks, HRH. Dr. Al-Hassan Yakmut charged the newly inaugurated executives of the One Plateau Unity Forum to lead with integrity, emphasizing the importance of unity and selfless service to the people of Plateau State.
He urged the executives to utilize their platform to unite Plateau, promoting peaceful coexistence and development throughout the state.
