The Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun, has charged newly sworn-in appointees to diligently discharge their duties and justify the confidence reposed in them.
Mwolpun gave the charge at the swearing-in ceremony of Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers held at the council chambers in Mangu yesterday.
He emphasized that the appointees were carefully selected based on their track records and are expected to bring their wealth of experience to bear.
The chairman stressed that his administration has zero tolerance for laziness, urging the appointees to be prepared to work under intense pressure to deliver democratic dividends to the people.
Mwolpun congratulated the newly sworn-in appointees, welcoming them to the “Service to Humanity” team.
He reiterated that their ultimate goal is to drive positive developmental strides and ensure the people benefit from democratic dividends.
Mwolpun said one of his key visions is to align with the vision of Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang, to bring about transformative development and prosperity to the people of Mangu Local Government Area.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, the Deputy Chairman of the council, Hon. Nuhu Yakwen, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman and the people for finding them worthy to serve in this capacity.
He assured that the appointees promise to put in their best efforts to deliver exceptional results in their various roles and make the administration proud.
