Sen. Diket Plang attends Retirement ceremony of Mr. Joseph Dashwep

Senator Diket Plang and his wife, Prof. Janet Plang, attended the retirement and thanksgiving service of Mr. Joseph Nuhu Dashwep on January 12, 2025. Senator Diket Plang, representing Plateau Central and chairman of the Senate Committee on Employment, Labor, and Productivity, as well as vice chairman of the Federal Character Committee, was accompanied by his wife. The event, held at COCIN Jabi in Abuja, honored Mr. Dashwep, a retired Director with the DSS.

Senator Plang described Mr. Dashwep as a member of a reliable and trustworthy royal family, noting his humility and forthrightness. He testified that society strongly believes in Mr. Dashwep’s ability to deliver on every task. The people of Pankshin and Central District are proud of his meritorious service, Senator Plang stated.

Furthermore, Senator Plang congratulated Mr. Dashwep on his faithful and successful service to the nation, wishing him a productive retirement and God’s continued mercy and grace. The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, represented by the Plateau State Commissioner of Lands and Survey, Barr. Peter Nyam Gai. Various dignitaries acknowledged Mr. Dashwep’s contributions to peacebuilding in Nigeria and Plateau State.
